Funds raised by The Zip Yard, Ireland’s award winning, high-street tailoring service, as part of their involvement in the recent ‘Trick or Treat’ for Temple Street campaign will help young patients in the hospital next year.
A cheque for €11,700, raised by donating a percentage of turnover in The Zip Yard on Saturday 22nd October in each of the 27 shops nationwide, has been handed over to support a number of entertainment activities in the hospital.
Caroline Wallace of The Zip Yard Ireland based on Ballysimon Road, Limerick comments, “We were delighted to support this great cause and to have raised such a significant amount. We hope our efforts will bring joy and laughter to the children in Temple Street and make a real difference in their lives”
Denise Fitzgerald, CEO of Temple Street Foundation says, “Thank you so much to The Zip Yard and their staff for supporting our annual ‘Trick or Treat’ for Temple Street campaign. We are thrilled to have received this generous contribution and we will put it to good use to bring smiles to little faces.”
